Costuras

Costuras is the collection of outdoor poufs created by Teresa Sapey in her first collaboration with Diabla Outdoor. Inspired by the stitch lines of an object as iconic as a baseball, the Costuras series unapologetically exposes what is usually hidden. These designer poufs make the geometry of their seams their characteristic sign.

Thanks to their simple and elegant lines, the Costuras poufs will be your best allies to bring a fun touch to your terrace or garden. Their resistant materials make them ideal for outdoor use, but their elegant and discreet lines also make them fit perfectly in your living room or in the kid’s room. Play to surprise by creating colour contrasts in its textured upholstery, choosing from the varied colour palette that Diabla Outdoor puts at your disposal.

The Costuras collection is original and fun: “without losing the simplicity and versatility of the product, we have opted to reinvent its essential elements, often hidden, and give them more prominence. That is why the seams become important!”, comments its creator, Teresa Sapey. These designer poufs are available in two versions: square and round. Pair them with each other and you will be able to create zones with daring rhythms and sizes.

Its upholstery is made with resistant textured outdoor fabric that is also removable, so you can easily take it off and wash it whenever you want. Its foam filling and polystyrene beads not only make the Costuras outdoor poufs incredibly comfortable, but also very light. You can move and reorient them easily, which makes them especially suitable for contract spaces that need to be reconfigured often.

Teresa Sapey + Partners

Based in Madrid since 1990, Teresa Sapey + Partners relies on an international multidisciplinary team with extensive experience working globally under the leitmotiv we design spaces with feelings.

“I think that interior and exterior design are coming increasingly interlinked, especially in
countries with hotter Mediterranean climates –the origin of Diabla, Sapey and now Costuras!
Of course, when developing Costuras we wanted to create a versatile product for both the interior and the exterior, for children and adults, for homes and hotels and restaurants.”

Horizontal navigation on mobile sounds like fun, but it's not. A wise man once said that videos should be shot horizontally, while websites should be navigated vertically.
