The Valentina Up collection is light, fun and elegant. His designs, built from the minimum elements, put into practice the maxim “less is more” of Mies van der Rohe with originality, the most genuine expression of the Diabla Outdoor style. Conceived as a review of the Valentina collection, awarded in several design competitions in 2019, Valentina Up is presented by its creator Alejandra Gandía-Blasco, reinventing her popular original designs by incorporating V-shaped zinc-plated iron rod legs. that improve the ergonomics of this outdoor furniture by raising it off the ground. With Valentina Up getting on and off your soft mats is even easier.

The variety of colors offered by the Diabla Outdoor palette of tones will allow you to personalize your Valentina Up design furniture with fun contrasts or tones in keeping with your environments.


“I tried to design with the minimum elements to give more prominence to the cushions, as they do in the Asian culture, the Hindu culture or the Hispanic-Arab culture, and that they were a structural element rather than a decorative one or the complement of an armchair. With this design I won the Elle Decor EDIDA Spain award”, comments its designer, Alejandra Gandía-Blasco.

The Valentina Up collection is made up of a comfortable armchair, a two-seater sofa, a lounger and two tables of different sizes, all of which can be combined with each other and are perfect for creating original and fun atmospheres. Its comfortable mattresses are filled with polyurethane foam and memory foam, and they have removable covers, so you can wash them effortlessly. The top of the Valentina Up tables is made of a thick but very light solid aluminum plate, so you can move them effortlessly and use them to place your drinks in a chill out area by the pool.

Alejandra Gandia-Blasco

Alejandra Gandía-Blasco is the assistant director of GANDIA BLASCO GROUP’s Communication. She graduated in Fine Art and then completed her training in Design and Communication at Central Saint Martins in London. She is an interdisciplinary creative, her work is based from visual arts and collective memory applied to the design of everyday objects and communication.
