The city becomes a perfect breeding ground for creativity and innovation. Alberto Sánchez and Eduardo Villalón from the Valencian studio MUT Design know this well. They are the creators of our GRILL outdoor collection. Drawing inspiration from the creative universe of Dutch neoplasticist painter Piet Mondrian, they create geometric furniture with clean, simple lines and verticality as essential characteristics.
GRILL makes a valuable contribution to urban contract spaces by blending avant-garde design, versatility, and functionality. These elements are crucial in creating outdoor environments that are not only visually appealing but also comfortable and adaptable to users’ changing needs.
The durability of materials we have chosen ensures GRILL’s ability to withstand heavy use and changing weather conditions. We produce the structure and surfaces of these outdoor furniture pieces with solid, thermolacquered, and textured square aluminum to prevent smudges and minimize scratches. On the other hand, the GRILL seats have cushions filled with polyurethane foam rubber and polyester fiber, which are covered with water-repellent fabric. In addition, its upholstery is removable, making it easy to wash.
The GRILL family caters to all preferences, comprising chairs and armchair versions, a sofa that can be complemented with a low table and side table, as well as a high stool paired with a bar table and high table.
Table and seat frames can be personalized in shades like red, white, gray, anthracite, sand, bronze, and, of course, the distinctive pink that saturates the contemporary atmosphere of ourDiabla Café. Furthermore, the GRILL collection offers the chance to create alluring color combinations by selecting textiles from our extensive color palette.
Lightness and versatility serve as the cornerstones of the GRILL collection, whose defining feature is the parallel arrangement of square aluminum tubing in its structures, evoking the grills from which it takes its name.
The series, which functions well both indoors and outdoors, allows for easy space reconfigurations, thus creating contract environments that are incredibly original, relaxed, and full of character. According to MUT Design, GRILL is “very modern, yet its design allows it to fit into rustic environments and, at the same time, much more contemporary settings.”
