Our PLISY lamp is a versatile design that brings a chic and playful touch to various Christmas settings. As one of our most iconic collections, PLISY perfectly reflects our brand’s experimental, playful, and innovative spirit. For its design, Alejandra Gandía-Blasco Lloret drew inspiration from the pleating techniques used in the fashion world, as well as the archetypal shape of vintage fabric lampshades. The result is a lamp with an aesthetic that suits both our outdoor and indoor spaces.

Though the pleats look like fabric, they’re crafted from rigid polyethylene, creating a delightful surprise when touched or observed closely. This unexpected material choice enhances the lamp’s unique character. The portable version adds another fashionable twist: it features a stylish cord that lets you carry it like a wristlet bag. By merging elements of fashion and lighting design, PLISY establishes an original connection between these two creative worlds.

In addition, its portable version can be hung from the wrist by means of a stylish cord, as if it were a bracelet bag. PLISY is, therefore, a lamp that moves between the world of fashion and that of lighting, establishing a link between both universes in a totally original way. Its uniqueness has been recognized with important international awards, such as the DNA Paris Design Awards in 2019 and the European Product Design Award in 2020.

The hybrid portable and rechargeable version can also be hung from a stand to provide spot lighting—a subtle nod to the fashion world, as its design is reminiscent of the stands used in restaurants to hold handbags. The collection also includes the PLISY UP fixed floor version, where the lampshade is non-portable.

On a technical level, PLISY incorporates LED lighting and is USB rechargeable. The latest version boasts a new LED module that doubles its previous lighting capacity, with an autonomy of 4 to 6 hours at maximum brightness. It can be switched on and off with a simple touch at the base or operated via a remote control, which also allows for brightness adjustment. Both the fixed stand and the stand for the portable version are available in red—a nod to classic Christmas hues. For a more neutral palette, white and grey options are also available.
