Trip director armchair

These chairs are foldable and have a tubular structure with aluminium slats, which makes them light and easily transportable. “We had talked many times about working on a folding collection, conceived from the idea of portability, making it part of the trip. Trip is born from this concept of nomadism and lightness”, explains Borja García, one of its creators. The furniture in the Trip collection is unique, fresh, and light, a reflection of the identity of Diabla Outdoor.
With the Trip director chair, designers José A. Gandía-Blasco and Borja García reinterpret a classic of industrial design, taking it to the universe of aluminium in its most chic version.

Designer and president and creative director of Gandia Blasco Group. In the 90’s managed to lead the activities of the family business towards the international design benchmark it is today.Diabla is the third brand he has set up and is his most recent business project.

“Our designs are always inspired by sensations, even anecdotes, from our daily lives. Those day-to-day emotions, big and small, constitute the germ of the idea and are later transferred to the product or thefinal project and seek, in turn, to awaken that same feeling in the user or viewer”.
