Tuba Dining chair
TUBA is the outdoor chair designed by Samuel Wilkinson in his first collaboration with Diabla Outdoor. The apparent simplicity of this exclusive Diabla Outdoor chair hides the extensive research work that was carried out to achieve a clean and ingenious solution based on intelligent use of aluminium. Made using a new construction technique without visible welding, the TUBA outdoor chair features perfect aesthetics and great singularity thanks to its simplicity and formal purity. Fun, original and energetic, it is pure Diabla spirit.
The TUBA chair is composed of 19 aluminium tubes with curvilinear features that seem to float over each other in a balanced way. “Designing a chair is not that hard, but designing a good chair is very difficult. The TUBA chair may seem very simple, but its clean aesthetic is the result of a very technical process”, explains its creator, Samuel Wilkinson.
Diabla tips:
The TUBA chair is made from a single component, aluminium, a ductile and infinitely recyclable material. A piece of exclusive designer furniture, it is sustainable and responsible with the environment. In addition, because it is very light, it is very easy to transport.
The durability and resistance of aluminium make this chair with an original design the perfect outdoor piece of furniture, an item that works well in any environment during all four seasons of the year. Thanks to its design, TUBA blurs the boundaries between exterior and interior, and it is the ideal chair both for a house on the beach and for a modern and casual apartment.
You can combine the TUBA chair with any other piece of furniture from the Diabla Outdoor collections -its wide range colour options will give you carte blanche to personalize your spaces. Dare with suggestive colour compositions to add a fun touch to your home or choose calm tones for more intimate and relaxed atmospheres.
